DAy 1 - Rotorua lakes district
Take flight over the impressive Rotorua Lakes District aboard a helicopter. Land on and explore New Zealand’s most active volcano White Island, and famous Mount Tarawera taking in the unique volcanic landscape. Complete your the day bathing in the natural spring hot pools.
Or take the Thermal Explorer in a Floatplane - From the air see the vast volcanic rift of the Tarawera fault line, some of the 18 lakes in the district, Waimangu and Waiotapu lakes surrounded by a pallet of vibrant colours from the geothermal activity. Land at Orakei Korako and discover the amazing Hidden geothermal Valley of hot springs.
Rotorua also offers world class Mountain Biking for the novice and adrenaline junkie. For extreme action, come annually in March and watch the Crankworx riders compete on the world circuit. day 2 - Forest canopy tour or Private farm tour

day 4 - trout fishing

If your preference is by boat, bring all the family and enjoy a 30 mtr Catamaran outing on beautiful Lake Tarawera, swim at a natural hot spring beach, and if you’re a lucky, enjoy a freshly caught trout, sashimi or hot spring cooked to accompany your picnic lunch, along with famous New Zealand wines and local craft beer.
The adventurous trout fisherperson might enjoy Raft fishing down gentle Grade 2/3 river. The scenery is breathtaking and the fishing experience second to none.
DAY 5 - HAWKE’S BAY
Award-winning food and wineries, art-deco architecture, and warm balmy days surrounded by magnificent landscapes are waiting to be explored in Hawke’s Bay. Hike up Te Mata Peak (photo) through the Redwood groves and rugged landscape seeing fossils and eye stretching scenery.
Visit Cape Kidnappers, it the largest and most accessible mainland Gannet colony in the world. You will see these amazing birds nesting, preening, flying and performing the famous recognition ritual “DANCE OF THE GANNETS”.
